The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, received today, Sunday, in his office at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army, the Commander of the Lebanese Army, General Joseph Aoun.Al-Hunaiti discussed with the guest aspects of joint coordination in various fields, in addition to the latest developments on the regional and international fronts that serve the interests of the armed forces of the two countries.Al-Hunaiti stressed the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries and the necessity of intensifying efforts to achieve security and peace in the region.For his part,the Lebanese Army chief expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role of the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and its role in supporting humanitarian and relief efforts for Lebanon during the current circumstances .
