Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Al-Hunaiti inaugurated on Wednesday the new building of the Military Justice Directorate in the Tabarbour area in Amman, where he was welcomed by its director.In the presence of a number of senior army officers, Al-Huneiti emphasized the vital and important role of the Directorate in achieving effective justice in judicial work within the standards of integrity, impartiality, and independence, lauding the high level of professionalism of its staff in carrying out the duties assigned to them and the partnership that the Directorate plays as one of the judicial facilities inside the Kingdom with other judicial authorities, which contributes seriously to maintaining the national security system.Al-Huneiti pointed out that the JAF General Command seeks to develop and harness all possibilities to raise the efficiency of the work ecosystem of the Military Justice Directorate and military judges in order to consolidate and promote the concepts of integrity, transparency, and justice, through qualifying and training judicial and military cadres to ensure a high level of efficiency and professionalism in dealing with various cases to achieve the quality and professionalism of judicial work.The army chief underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Military Justice Directorate and the various military units, formations, and departments to increase the effectiveness of the judicial system and ensure the rights of JAF officers.Al-Huneiti was briefed on the directorate’s duties and tasks, and the latest development and modernization processes in the directorate in line with the nature of its work, the steps taken recently to upgrade the level of the judicial work ecosystem in the directorate, military courts, and the State Security Court on the one hand, and the desired aspirations to be achieved in the future in order to further develop the work ecosystem in the directorate and the plans set to translate them on the ground on the other.The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff honored a number of former directors of the directorate in recognition of their service, and met with the Directorate’s staff and conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and commended their great efforts in implementing the tasks assigned to them and their role in maintaining the level of performance and discipline that reflects the spirit of commitment and loyalty to the homeland.
