The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti, visited the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, where he was welcomed by the college commander.Al-Hunaiti was briefed about the college, its objectives, academic programs, national mission, and the developments that have taken place both academically and administratively.His Excellency attended a portion of the seminar on Strategic Environment Analysis and Risk Management, which is conducted periodically by the National Defense College. The seminar aims to leverage acquired knowledge and practical skills in analyzing the strategic environment, including its strengths, weaknesses, threats, challenges, and opportunities, as well as assessing risks arising from those threats. This process seeks to arrive at appropriate political options and strategic alternatives for countries (locally, regionally, and internationally) to qualify and train participants from both military and civilian sectors in the methodology of national strategic planning at all levels.At the end of the seminar, attended by several senior officers of the JAF, Major General Al-Hunaiti expressed his admiration for the level the college has achieved. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the expertise, competencies, and opportunities provided by the college for the participants, as this positively impacts strategic planning in light of the changes and challenges facing Jordan's national security.
