Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, visited the Central Military Zone today, Wednesday, and was welcomed by the commander of the region as part of the continuous monitoring of operational preparedness and improving military capabilities.Major General Al-Hunaiti reviewed the progress of training and logistical operations, as well as the operational readiness of the zone’s units and formations.During his visit to the Royal Air Defense Battalion/73, Al-Hunaiti emphasized the importance of ongoing training and qualification to ensure the operational readiness of the Armed Forces under all conditions facing the region.Al-Hunaiti listened to a briefing on the duties and missions undertaken by the battalion, as well as the status of operational, training, and logistical matters, reviewing the latest equipment, weapons, and gear being utilized.As well as affirming the ongoing efforts of the General Command of the JAF to modernize the weapons and equipment used in field air defense, aiming to enhance defensive capabilities and ensure the highest levels of efficiency and readiness.The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff met with the personnel of the battalion, in the presence of several senior officers of the Armed Forces, conveying the greetings and pride of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and the Crown Prince.
