In the presence of Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a cooperation agreement was signed today, Wednesday, at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army between the Jordanian Armed Forces and the friendly Dutch side.

The agreement, signed on behalf of the Jordanian Armed Forces by the Assistant for Planning, Organization, and Defense Resources, and by the Dutch side, the Ambassador of the Netherlands accredited to the Kingdom, Harry Verweij, aims to enhance mutual cooperation and exchange expertise in military fields between the two friendly countries.

It also comes as part of the efforts made by the Jordanian Armed Forces to strengthen relations and frameworks of cooperation, as well as to exchange knowledge and technology with advanced armies, in addition to enhancing joint programs and exercises.

The agreement was attended by the Dutch military attaché in Amman and a number of senior officers from the armed forces.
