Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Thursday was briefed on the Royal Engineering Corps Directorate (RECD)'s operational and other projects, which contribute to Jordan's national development and its existing and future plans, Huneiti was received upon his arrival by the Director of the Engineering Corps, Brigadier General Imad Al-Khamaiseh and the battalion commander.During a visit to the General Support Engineering Battalion,a RECD unit, Huneiti inaugurated the unit's administrative buildings and a model weapon depot.Huneiti also visited RECD headquarters, and inaugurated a ceremony amphitheater, a meeting room, and a sports gymnasium.In a related context, Huneiti visited Military Women's Training Center and was briefed on the development of women's work in the JAF and their achievements, as well as the center's role in training female officers and personnel.At the visit's end, Huneiti expressed his admiration for the JAF units' distinguished level, readiness and preparedness and their "high, professional and remarkable" efforts in carrying out their duties.
